The Kid’s Club and Captain Herman

Kid’s Fishing Trips..

(ages 4 – 12 years)

 

Captain Herman along with Fiona (Activities Coordinator) take children,

on an adventure on the high seas.

This is not just a fishing trip, but it is also educational.  Every fish caught will be examined and discussed

Pirate’s Caves and Bodden Town Zoo

 

The authentic Pirate’s Caves and Bodden Town Zoo is located in Historic Bodden Town.  You can enjoy a self guided tour with three attractions included for one price.

 

Pirates Caves – no special equipment needed and the caves can be enjoyed by people of all ages.  You can wonder through passages actually used by pirates as hiding places for valuable treasures and see authentic pirate artifacts.

 

Bodden Town Zoo – indigenous animals to the Cayman Islands and Caribbean.

 

Nature Walks – through local lush tropical plants and trees.  They have plaques identifying the local flora detailing their rich cultural information and uses.

Cooking classes at the Lighthouse in Breakers

The Black Pearl Skate and Surf Park is located behind Hurley’s Supermarket in Red Bay.  This is the largest skate park ever built and is designed for all levels of skateboarding and inline skating.  Once you have tried the concrete waves, cool off with a surfing session on the largest free standing stationery wave in the world!! Governor Michael Gore Bird Sanctuary


Although compact, this 1.84-acre/0.74-hectare wilderness refuge commonly known as Governor's Pond is a protected bird habitat that packs in bio-diverse species of wetland birds and more than 60 other bird species. The best time for viewing birds is February-April. Free. Spotts Newlands Road, Grand Cayman.

Wreck of the Ten Sails Historic Park

 

This 65-acre/26-hectare park is a memorial to the historic wreck of the ship Cordelia, whose crew was saved by East Enders in 1794. The story is commonly known as the "Wreck of the Ten Sails." Just off the East End Highway, Grand Cayman.
