Eat, Drink, and Unwind at Morritt’s

A trip to Grand Cayman isn’t just about the sun and sand. It’s also about the food. The cocktails. The little moments that make a holiday feel like a holiday. Luckily, you don’t need to leave Morritt’s to find all of that. Our restaurants and bars cover every mood…like casual pub bites or proper sit-down dinners with a view!

David’s Restaurant

David’s is where mornings begin and evenings wind down. The ocean view does most of the talking. The food does the rest. Fresh seafood, hearty pastas, Cayman flavours, and desserts that are worth saving room for. Easy for breakfast. Elegant enough for date night.

The Cavern

Craving comfort food? The Cavern has you sorted. Think burgers, chips, nachos and cold beers. It’s casual, welcoming, and the best spot to catch a game on TV. Sometimes simple really is the best!

Mimi’s Dock Bar

Ask anyone and Mimi’s will probably be their favourite hangout. It’s right on the water. You can sip cocktails, listen to live music, or just watch the sun sink behind the horizon. And don’t miss the daily fish feeding – it’s a Morritt’s tradition that never gets old.

Georgie’s Café

Sometimes you just want something quick and easy. That’s where Georgie’s comes in. Fresh coffee to start the day. Smoothies, sandwiches, and light bites for when you’re on the go. It’s casual, convenient, and the perfect stop between the pool and the beach.

 The Pool Bars

A swim-up bar is the ultimate vacation flex. Float up for a daiquiri, rum punch, or whatever you’re in the mood for. Stay in the pool. Stay on a lounger. Either way, you’re good.

More Than a Meal

The best part of dining here? It’s never just about the food. It’s breakfast with the sunrise. Drinks that turn into stories you’ll tell long after your trip. Every spot has its own feel. Together, they give you plenty of ways to taste Cayman.

Amenities at Morritt’s

There are so many reasons to love Morritt’s, but one thing that really sets this resort apart are the fantastic amenities! From the rooms and restaurants, to the pools and play areas for the kids, there is something here for everyone.

Here’s what our guests say their top favourite amenities are at Morritt’s:

1. Full 1 and 2-bed suites

Stingrays are as majestic as they are docile. Especially in Cayman’s Stingray City. In North Sound you can take a swim on a beautiful sandbar with dozens of these friendly locals. Warning, these stingrays have been known to photobomb visitors! 😆

Cocktails with a View: A Guide to Sipping Around Morritt’s

If you’re looking for the perfect place to sip something tropical while staring out at the sea, you’re in the right spot. Over in the laid-back East End of Grand Cayman, far from the crowded bars of Seven Mile, there’s a place where the breeze is cooler, the views are better, and the cocktails just hit differently!

Mimi’s Dock Bar (Overwater Ocean Views)

Let’s start with the crown jewel of Morritt’s: Mimi’s Dock Bar. Suspended over the Caribbean Sea, this open-air dock bar is a total vibe. Picture this…you’re perched above the water, drink in hand, the sound of gentle waves below, and a view that stretches into forever. Not only is it the best oceanfront bar in East End… it’s one of the best on the entire island!

Swim Up Pool Bars (Pool Vibes)

Are you more of a pool person? Morritt’s has two swim-up pool bars, so you never have to choose between staying cool and getting a refill. This is truly the ultimate vacation move! After all, frozen drinks just taste better when you’re waist-deep in water and hanging out in the sunshine.

Morritt’s Beach (Cocktails in the Sand)

Want to take your drink all the way to the shoreline? Morritt’s makes it easy. With palapas, hammocks, comfy beach loungers, and soft white sand, you can relax with acocktail just steps from the sea. Whether you’re soaking up the sun or catching a breeze in the shade, there’s nothing like sipping your favourite drink with your toes in thesand and the waves rolling in. No shoes, no stress, just you, your cocktail, and pure Caribbean chill.

David’s Verandah (Fresh Breezes and Ocean Views)

If a relaxed sit-down vibe is more your style, head over to David’s. The verandah seating offers a front-row view of the Caribbean Sea, the beach, and even Mimi’s Dock Bar in the distance. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to enjoy stunning beach views without actually being on the sand. It’s shaded, breezy, and gives you the perfect elevated perspective to soak it all in while keeping things comfortable.

Sip-Worthy Favourites (Mudslide Lovers, This One’s for You)

Wondering what to order while you’re soaking in all the vibes and views? You can’t go wrong with either of these two crowd favourites. They’re total staples at Morritt’s and always hit the spot:

Cayman Mudslide: Rich, creamy, and dangerously good (plus, they’re way better when you’re seaside)

Watermelon Mojito: Refreshing, sweet, and oh-so Caribbean

Morritt’s also serves up a variety of other tropical classics, from frozen margaritas and daiquiris to rum punch and cheeky signature creations. Whether you’re in the mood for something bold, fruity, or frosty, there’s something for every kind of sipper. (Bonus: they’re all highly photogenic. Your drink deserves a cameo on your feed!)
